Early Literacy Programs
Our early literacy programs are designed to foster a love of reading in young children. Through interactive story times, engaging activities, and access to a wide selection of children's books, we help children develop essential literacy skills.
Adult Education Workshops
We offer a variety of adult education workshops to help community members enhance their skills and knowledge. These workshops cover topics such as computer literacy, financial literacy, and resume writing, empowering adults to achieve their personal and professional goals.
Teen Book Clubs
Our teen book clubs provide a space for young adults to connect with their peers, explore new genres, and develop critical thinking skills. Through engaging discussions and activities, we encourage a lifelong love of reading and learning.
Upcoming Events
Join us for an engaging storytime session designed for children aged 3-7. We’ll read exciting stories, sing songs, and participate in fun activities that promote literacy and imagination. This event will take place in the children’s section of the library.
Our monthly book club will be discussing ‘The Secret Garden’ by Frances Hodgson Burnett. New members are always welcome! Copies of the book are available at the front desk. The meeting will be held in the library’s conference room.
Meet local author, Jean-Pierre Dubois, as he discusses his new book on the history of La Flotte. Learn about the fascinating stories and events that have shaped our community. A Q&A session and book signing will follow the talk.
